As  I understand and interpret  it , PAN Number should be written of  Assessee only. Power of attorney holder is signatory to return only and authorized to sign return.  The signature is done by P A holder ...

As Mr. A is outside India the ITR V of the efiled return , which need to be send to CPC will be physically signed by his registered Power of Attorney holder . In such a circumstance whose PAN need to be shown in the verificaton part of the IT Return ie. the PAN of the assessee OR the PAN of the PA holder who will be signing the ITR V on behalf of the assessee
