Dear Colleague

Black money has been the raging topic these days especially with the Government notifying the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015 and the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Rules, 2015 and the Supreme Court also creating a Special Investigation Team to handle the issue of stashing away unaccounted money abroad.

According to experts, unaccounted Indian money abroad is anywhere between $500 bilion to $1.5 trillion. The Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015 has been enacted to deal with this menace of unaccounted wealth stashed abroad. It provides one last opportunity for people to declare overseas assets under a compliance window that closes on September 30th 2015.

This handbook is intended for readers to know and understand the latest law on black money. Written in a very simple style, the book is likely to benefit the readers across all genres.
