Sirji,
I believe that as and when some illegal practices happen and known ton them by any sources , anonymous letter , press notes , comments etc any source , ICAI should take stern action , inquiry in to such illegal affairs immediately . This will prevent any recurrence of such bad practices!!!!! This will have very effective control over the illegal practices, bad practice by some one.Other wise they have open field to practice in thier way.

It may be recalled that in Vijay V Meghani vs. DCIT, the ITAT Mumbai has passed severe strictures and lamented the alleged fall in standards in the CA profession. The Tribunal also expressed the fear that the CA profession is "losing its grip over the Income tax matters".
