As far as I understand the meaning of Chairperson , Means the person appointed for the particular meeting meant for or conducted the meeting. Chairman means appointed for the all the time till he retires , removed from the capacity.

some other sections of the new Act are referring to the same person as CHAIRMAN : 104, 107, 109, 114, 118
