I can remind my childhood days when my CA elders brothers & sisters, I was so fascinated by seeing their glory that I pursued this carrer. Now I see that that glory and fame of CAs are missing now a days. When I analyse the situation I can see that we CAs are responsible for all this. Above all our Council people are much more responsible for this. They are not able to reprsent our body properly. At that time ICSI,ICWAI are not able to match us, they were no where but now they are indulging themselves in our area of expertise. We are not expanding our horizon. Our council members are only trying to flourish their personal professional work through the platform of ICAI. They are least concerned about other CAs and their professional opprtunity. Few examples are here cited below known to everyone:-

 

1. Bank audit

2. Introduction of cost accountant as Internal auditor in new Companies Bill

3. Introduction of CS as accountant to carrry on Tax Audit.

4. Formation of new accounting body as per new companies bill etc

5. A petition has been submitted by Advocates not to allow CAs to appear before AOs.

 

What we CAs are doing I feel nothing. The opportunity for CA to work in Industry is also squeezed. The Salary is less and demands from employer are more.

 

We all should be aware before our Profession ruined like a baseless building.  I may appear harsh to many people for that I beg your pardon but it is ultimately truth
