Re: [aaykarbhavan] clearity on intersate sales

One  of  the  important  conditions  for  interstate  sale  is  that  the  movement  of  goods  one  state  to  another.,

This  is  local  tax  not  interstate  tax

Dear Sir,

I need some clarification on interstate sales but goods to be delivered within state  to third party on buyers instructions for job work.

1.       We are a manufacture in Gujarat ("A").

2.       A Maharashtra manufactures ("B") place order on us to deliver some goods to a Gujarat job worker ("C") for job work on behalf of Maharashtra manufacture.

3.       Payment of goods to us will be made by Maharashtra manufacture only.

My questions are:-

1.       Is it interstate sales attracting CST or local sales (G VAT)

2.       Maharashtra dealer wants to ensure cenvat benefit are available to them.

3.       There are two fields in our invoice i.e. 1 Buyer and 2 shipped to or consignee   Please clarify to mention "B" and "C" address in these two fields. "B" will be obliviously in Buyers field.

Regards,

HP Soni
