[aaykarbhavan] Dividend from Singapore

Dear Sir,

A Resident Indian Individual has received dividend from Singapore company ( Tax free in Singapore), is this income is also tax free in India ( Singaporean company has no BO/Liaison office/PE in India). Pls advice in the light of IT act & DTAA with Singapore.
