As far as I understand , changes in firm is required to be intimated and on record of ICAI. Bank can not remove from their emplacement at all.

Dear friends

I had a change in the constitution of the Firm after submitting the MEF application for Bank Branch Audits. I am already empanelled as a statutory branch auditor of nationalised bank which is to continue for next two years.

The change in constution was as regards admission of ACA partner and retirement of FCA partner.

I would like to know, to whom this change in constitution is to be intimated and whether it may effect my current empanelment which is to continue for next 2 years.

My friend once had a change in constitution of his firm after submitting the mef application which he intimated to the bank in which his firm was empanneled. The bank after being intimated removed him from the panel of auditors.

Am I prone to the same?????
