Dear members,
Following are the facts:
1. premise A is owned by X and Y
2. premise B is owned by X and Z.
3. only member X is getting rent exceeding 10 lacs.
I would like learned members to guide me on the followings issues:
if all co-owners wish to pay service tax on total rents received from both properties collectively as service is un divisible and one, how to obtain ser tax reg no?
can all 3 co owners jointly take the no?, if yes in what capacity, as they are not AOP.
If they take individual no., 2 co-owners are below SSI limit.
Can 2 ser tax nos be obtained by X/Y and Z/X?
I request learned members to please guide me in the matter.
Thank you.
moiz
