[aaykarbhavan] How many people file Wealth Tax Returns?

Can any body in India or CBDT tell:-

1. How many wealth tax returns were filed in India during the last five financial years.

2. How many MP's, MLA's, CM's or ministers file their wealth tax returns.

I made this enquiry under RTI Act, from the Ministry Of Finance. But none of the Departments of the Finance Ministry or CBDT could provide this information to me.

Can any body get this information? Because I feel Wealth Tax Act has been put to permanent sleep by the Government, by taking out almost all the Assets out of the perview of the WT Act. Even if someone remains liable to file his WT return, no body is filing. MP's are having assets worth hundreds of crores, but I wonder, if any body is filing his WT return.

Can anybody help?
