The comptroller and auditor general (CAG) has decided to spread the message of its reports, on a variety of issues, including the 2G spectrum scam, to the common man through what it calls 'Noddy books'. These 20-page books are miniature versions of its mammoth audit reports written in racy and lucid language to 'sensitise' the common man as well as NGOs, political leaders and opinion-makers, according to a recent report by TheTimes of India. "The language is simple and gives a complete picture of a particular audit," said a CAG official
