[aaykarbhavan] SERVICETAX ON RENT FROM LIC

Dear members,

I would like to know whether property rented to LIC is exempt from service tax?
is property rented to govt. authority is exempt?
also is LIC an authority set up by an Act of parliament and exemption be claimed from charging service tax?
