[aaykarbhavan] queries on Service Tax matter

Hi,

Someone may please reply to my queries on Service Tax matter.

ABC Private Limited is yet to file its April to June 2012 Service Tax Return.

1. Prior to April 2012, company was having Management Consultant Service.

2. W.e.f. 01.04.2012, company started new service i.e. Renting of Immovable Property.

3. Company is yet to include the new service i.e. Renting of Immovable Property in its ST Regn Cert.

4. As you are aware, ACES portal is yet to enable 120 Specific Taxable Services,

though they were restored on 20.11.12.

Query 1

In view of the ACES portal problem, can the company just file Service Tax Return
with mention of new service (and its receipts details) in the ST-3
without approaching Service Tax Department for amending the ST Regn Cert for new service ?
(Company will obtain amendment once the portal is enabled with 120 services)

Query 2

(Another similar company)
XYZ Private Limited has filed ST-3 uptodate say from April 2010 to June 2012 for Management Consultant Service.

However, it is discovered now that company was providing service i.e. Renting of Immovable Property from June 2007 to till date.

How to proceed for this company, as company has already filed ST-3 uptodate for one service only.

Whether belatedly filed Service Tax Return can be revised.
